The Health Policy Research Group conducts health policy and health services research related to the following objectives:
- to examine various facets of the health policy environment and policymaking process (including policy adoption and implementation),
- to evaluate the impact of public health and health care policy on individual- and population-level health behavior and outcomes,
- to conduct process, impact, and outcome evaluations on health promotion programs and policies, and
- to increase the translation of research findings into practice.
Previous projects have used a wide range of methods including qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods approaches and have included primary and secondary data analysis.
